CPR Certification First Aid Training Fire Safety Safety Consulting
Question: What questions should I ask when inquiring about training?
Answer: Always insure that the instructors are trained
in the field that they will be teaching. Also inquire about the programs themselves and what source the materials are being presented
from. Never hesitate to ask for an instructor's resume. We also encourage you to inquire about references. As you see, we have many
of our customer's names available to you. Additionally, it is very important to utilize the services of a training center that has
acquired the proper licenses and insurance to conduct this training.
Question: What should I receive with my training?
Answer: Every accredited training center and instructor is required to
present each student with textbooks, not photocopies of textbooks. You should also receive a training certificate for each program
upon successful completion. The program coordinator should also receive a copy of the attendance roster.
Question: Why does the program length and price vary between different training agencies?
Answer: Different centers
provide different materials. Some agencies are now offering accelerated programs in First Aid and CPR. This offers quick
program completion but does not always insure that
the students have retained the knowledge. These programs contain a great
deal of information. We teach the programs to their recommended lengths to insure that the students are properly prepared to
handle an emergency situation. As far as price is concerned; with the higher priced agencies you are simply paying for a brand
name or for an agency's increased profits. There is only one way to do CPR.
This training is widely recognized whether
it is done through the National Safety Council, American Safety and Health Institute, American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
Our
goal is to make the training as affordable and obtainable as possible. We recommend that you research prices and instructor
credentials before scheduling a class with any agency.
