CPR Certification First Aid Training Fire Safety Safety Consulting
Question: Why is CPR and First Aid training administered for no charge in some areas by the
local emergency services?
Answer:
Organizations such as the local ambulance squad or police department will offer the training as a community service. Many times
however, they do not provide the proper training materials and / or certification cards that are required by many agencies or employers.
This free training is great for just common knowledge but will not meet the requirements set forth by local departments of health
or healthcare agencies unless an actual certification card is issued. The issued card must be from an accredited training center.
Question: What should I expect after the program is over?
Answer: At SHS, we pride ourselves on customer service.
Following each program, you will receive your completion certificates and attendance roster in a very timely fashion. Our instructors
and consultants are always available via phone or email to answer any safety and health questions that you may have; even following the
completion of a course. If we do not have the answer, we can guide you to an agency that can further assist you. When
the time nears for you to renew your certification, we will send you a reminder notice. We take the stress out of safety and
health education.
