This is a great program for college students, industry workers and emergency
response teams.  This course will prepare you to handle breathing and cardiac
emergencies as well as bleeding, sudden illness, injuries, preventing disease transmission, scene safety & control, post-incident reporting and specialrescue considerations.

Pathogens
This program has been designed to help satisfy OSHA's training requirement for any person that may come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials throughout the course of their everyday work routine.  Meets OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030.  The program covers:  Transmission of Diseases, Prevention Techniques, Universal Precautions, Exposure Control, Labeling and Post-Event Reporting.

Confined Space Entry
This program covers OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.146 for Permit Required Confined Spaces.  Students will learn how to identify, evaluate and control hazards, utilize personal protective equipment and perform rescue techniques if needed.

 Emergency Oxygen Admin.
Oxygen Administration is critical during an emergency.  This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen delivery devices.

Food Allergy Awareness
This program has been custom designed by our staff to assist parents, teachers and emergency workers the importance of recognizing and respecting the life threatening allergies of others.  Students will be introduced to food allergens, signs of a reaction and methods of treating someone experiencing an allergic reaction.

Pediatric CPR / First Aid
This program is designed for parents, youth organizations and child care providers.  Students will learn how torespond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in
Infants and Children, identifying and caring for common age-related injuries and preventingchildhood injuries.  The course also covers topics such as
Automatic External Defibrillation, infection control and legal issues.

Note:  Many of our programs have no specific re-certification period specified by OSHA.  For many programs, OSHA states that "training must be done upon initial hiring, when a new hazard arises or when an employee appears to need to be re-trained".  Also, several of our programs allow our customers to determine the length of certification, up to a certain time period, to best fit their specific needs.
